The 9th Horsington Beer
Festival takes place in May 2008
The
Beer festival runs from 2.30 until 8.00pm, |

In
the past 17 years the Half Moon Inn has sold over 1000 different ales.
As well as regular brews like Wadworth 6X, London Pride & Badger
Tanglefoot, exotic beers such as What The Foxes Hat from Church End
Brewery, Butts Barbus, Hungerford and Old Tom an 8.5% ABV Ale from
Robinsons of Stockport. Four real ales are always stocked. Last year, the Horsington Beer Festival featured 18 Cask Ales, including; Leffe Blond Lager, Hampshire Hare, St Austell Tribute, Ringwood Bold Forrester, Grand Union Best, Butts Barbus, Timothy Taylor Landlord, Wadworth JCB, Butcombe Blond, Crouch Vale Amarillo, Dinton Chimera Red, Dorset Weymouth Best, Hydes Cloud Nine, Hidden Pint, Cottage Hop N' Drop. Lager drinkers were not ignored with Carlsberg, Carlsberg Export and Stella Artois on tap as well as Guinness and Blackthorn Cider. House Wines are all sourced from the New World and are all available by the glass or bottle. The Half Moon Inn normally run two competitions, one for the largest pumpkin from our seeds, and a one for the best carved pumpkin faces by the children.
